Briefly, I am an expert in the area of nonfiction writing and boast a diverse communications background that spans nearly three decades. My experience encompasses corporate publication management; writing books, articles, fillers, bible study guides and other material; freelance editing; ghost writing; e-magazine publishing; and mentoring writers.
An author and award-winning, internationally published freelance writer, I write for general and Christian markets.
I am the author of eight children’s books. I am also the author of I Want to Talk with My Teen About Money Management (Standard Publishing), and have served as a contributing author for several other nonfiction books.
Moreover, my work has appeared in regional, national, and international publications, as well as on websites. I have worked with book, magazine and website publishers, and a book packager.
I earned my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from National University (2012) and a Bachelor of Arts, dual degree, cum laude, in Public Relations and Journalism from Utica College of Syracuse University (1985).
Additionally, in December 2014 I earned Regent University’s Professional Continuing Education “Digital Media” Certificate. The certification program comprised four Courses:
- Social Media and the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing
- Foundations & Best Practices for Search Engine Optimization
- Graphic Design and the Production of the Digital Content
- Maintaining and Updating Websites
In addition to the organizations above, I am a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association.
